    Sorry for stupid question, but: is it possibile to use ad AMD GPU card into Graphics Amplifier while the laptop has an Nvidia one?

    Yes. Same goes for an Nvidia GPU in the GA and an AMD GPU in the laptop.

    Correct. I believe the laptop will switch over and only use the GPU in the amp so doesn't matter if the cards are from the same manufacturer or not.

    in my experience using an AMD graphics card actually worked better than Nvidia... Just throwing that out there.
