I was wondering if there was any news on a new driver that supports using the gpus as proccessing power(I cant remmeber what its called). AMd/Ati recognize that the 64 driver does not work with this.
    Thanks for the info.

I thought only Nvidia has this CPU boost?

Or do you have a 32bit driver and want a 64bit? I guess if there is a 32bit one there should be a 64bit one as well ...

    A little confused....

Using the GPU, for processing power? As in, not for graphics, like helping the CPU?

Never even heard of this... Does it exist?

Year it was the BIG feature of the 8800GTX, it supported the CPU when grapicpower wasn't needed...

I think its called ati/amd stream technology.
I am running x64 windows vista on my m17 but the current x64 drivers dont support the stream technology.
When you install the new drivers from ati it even installs folding@home for the gpu. (but it wont run on x64 based systemsbecause of the lack of driver support)
