I am not n the US and calling alienware would mean an international call, so I tried chatting with an agent and they don´t have an dea, they told me to chat with alienware ( it was a dell agent) and gave me a link, the link went to the exact same XPS CHAT so again with a dell agent asked and he told me he could not find a link to buy it separately. I´m happy with one 260 but would like to buy a second one now :-( any advices? I searched on amazon and can´t find it (mobile one)

I think I saw a thread with a company selling 260s but I think it was the wrong one for the m17x. The way I see it is to watch ebay/here for anyone who might sell their 260m, although Ive only seen 1 person selling their card, a 280m. If you want it quicker you would probably have to get it through dell. From what ive seen from people who have tried to buy a second, It took them a while to get the rep to actually understand what they want. Then theres the high price. Ive seen the 280m for almost $1000 like a month ago. They really want you to buy it with the laptop. If you cant get dell to ship it to your country, theres lots of loyal people here who would help. Hopefully a Alienware rep is reading this thread, haven't seen them for a while though.

Well I wouldn't give up just yet. Some people are upgrading from their 280s and 260s to the 4870, we might see some people selling their old cards on here.

Thanks alla for replying, I´ll check your thread Moo and think of the other options would be cool to have a second 260, I´m not a hardcore gamer, I´m a 3d modeller/animator that wants to use it on the go, but gaming when I have the time is cool so having more horsepower could help, right now I play crysis high but not maxed out (specially Antialiasing) if having a second one helps raising the limits then it could be worthy. Thanks again guys!

Yep a 2nd 260m would help, but as sgilmore says, many guys are going to upgrade to the 4870, so they will be selling off 280s and 260s, meaning you can get them for bargain prices.
