Hi, just wondering is it wise to get the HD4870 from MXM Upgrades to put inside the New i7 M15X?
I know that the M15X supports up to 65W for the Graphic card.
but
"AMD published a current consumtion of about 65 Watt for the HD 4870"
anyone know is this possible? thanks for reading!

we try that already with moo and it doesn't work at least with A01 bios i don't know if the A02 or A03 is supported
-
Well is it possible that the TS could retry with the A02 or A03 bios? -

just needs a quick fix in the BIOS or play around on the OS level.
We could try it again but we would need 10-20$ for gas again -
I'll chip in if you guys are willing to gave it another go.

If a HD4870 worked does that mean a HD5870 would? Now that would blow my mind. -
