    HDD upgrade question

    I know a lot of people on here upgrade the HDDs themselves, and I have a few questions...

    1) These laptops have Alienwares software and themes ETC on... will the Vista disk restore these or would I need to buy the Respawn disk?
    2) If I replace both discs on a m17x (or buy with one disc and install 2 new ones) will it go to RAID 0 automatically or will they appear as separate discs? Would I need to set it up myself?
