    Was wondering if anyone tried playing games when connected to external display via HDMI

    I can extended my desktop via HDMI, just for giggles I tried dont the same while running Crysis and it the displayed just blacked out, however the game was still running

    As far as I know you have to select the "TV" as main and than the game is shown there but I guess the notebookscreen shows a black screen.

    In the options which are presented when you connect the "TV" , I had selected "Display of secondary only.." , the laptop screeen is not blacked out but the "TV" only when i try starting the games

    Have you tryed to use FN + F3 so the notebookscreen is black and the hdmi TV is the main.

    I had to use the tv as main.
    I got a res of 1920 x 1080 I believe it was 1080i

    I play H2 Vista and Supreme Commander with HDMI out.
