As some of you might know, I've been having troubles connecting to a HDTV.
Before today, I tried 7 different HDTVs from Sharp, Sony, and ViewSonic, using a $18.00 HDMI cable from NCIX.

I was told from several people, including people on this forum, that it could be the cables problem, or I have to press these buttons etc.... all valid points.

Today, I went to a local dealer, and I tried the Monster 300 & 400 HDMI Cables, in addition to my own $18.00 HDMI Cable from NCIX.

I tried it on two brands, Samsung HDTV and Toshiba HDTV.

On the Samsung HDTV, all 3 cables gave me a picture.

On the Toshiba HDTV, all 3 cables gave me nothing, like the 7 other HDTV's I've tried....

SO, I - from an unqualified N00B'z point of view of what's been happening, there is a hand-shaking/signal recognition, that m15x produces a digital signal not recognized or not supported by some brands?

    any comments?

'EDIT:-- By the way, on the ones that I don't get a picture from, only a black screen, NVIDIA Control Panel RECOGNIZES the monitor. My Laptop will recognize a display is connected and show for example, "Sharp HDMI". but no picture.
