    1. The Spec:
    M17
    qx9300
    4gb stock ram
    3870Xfire
    2 HDDs x 250GB raid0
    everythin else hardware-like is standard

    OS
    Vista x64

    2. The issue(problem)
For some reason I have been having some problems with my M17 lately.
a.When i start a game and play after just few minutes,it gets laggy and slow and the sound keeps cutting in and out, blue screen usually happend here.this straight freeze causing me to have to power down and reboot.
    Games--Red Alert3,Dawn of War2,FarCry,Crysis....
b.Sometimes the event also happened when I exit the game and start using windows,I can barely move my mouse.
c.The problem also happened after i use MemTest to check the ram,but i donnot think this is Ram problem.
d.After long time sleep,i cannot return to the windows desktop when i enter my password.
e.sometimes when i start computer, raid 0 is faild, then computer cannot find the windows system,it causes windows to not open.i try going back to a non raid setup and the problem still exist.so i confirm the problem isn't caused by raid 0.

3.some ways i try to check the problem,FAILD!
a.i have re-installed the Vista and reform the raid 0,the problem still exist.
b.i used drivers from support CD,the problem still exist.
c.i also changed the latest chipset driver, intel matrix storage manager and video driver.the problem still exist.
d.i opened computer, used single or dual RAM to check the problem(unless dual ram all broken), however the problem still exist.
e.i used EVEREST to check the temp of CPU and GPU,the temp of GPU is normal(the highest about 80℃,average is 73℃ when gaming),temp of cpu also normal.

i think all these issues are the same problem because every time i get the same Blue Screen report.here is my Blue Screen report,i hope some one know the issues.

it maybe a dying ran stick or a bad cpu. try taking ram out and switching if possible. try cleaning out heat vent yet? that can cause issues.

Sorry to hear about this issue, would you be able to check under envent viewer to see what errors were logged? Did it start recently, any changes/upgrades done, including software? You can also run a memory test and see if no errors are reported. Feel free to send me a PM or contact our technical support at your earliest convenience to address this matter.

I second that. Do a RAM test. Then a Hard Drive test if the RAM is okay.

I meant when you played the games, did you take the comp out of sleep mode?

Right. I have seen this out of sleep mode, and also when my CPU is overclocked too high. Best to disable sleep mode all together, nothing good comes of it.

YES,i have take it out of sleep mode, and i try to running game again, but i also find the freeze problem.
I use Resource Overview while gaming ,i found sometimes the Usage of CPU to a very high level (about 90% ;) suddenly when freeze problem happening.when the game running normally, the CPU Usage only about 35%.
I was so puzzled because i didn't running anyother software while playing!

It may be the raid configuration. I remember seeing a thread on how the raid config on the M17 causes lag like you are saying. It could quite possibly be causing the blue screen if there is an error in the two drives communicating.
I hope this helps I didn't get to see if anyone had given you this info. But Good luck man. Sorry your computer isn't working right.

Please let us know if you were able to run a ram test. Regarding cpu usage it may only cause lags unless it is overheating which will cause for the system to shutdown or restart.

No prob man. Sorry I cant be of more help to you. Good luck. And let me know if you disable raid if the lag stops. I think its worth looking into. But id do a ram test first. start with the ez stuff then go to the harder stuff.
