    Hello guys, i recently posted a thread saying that my computer is too slow.

    And the main reason that you guys have told me is the RAM. So i did upgraded it to 4GB RAM And for some reason it is still kinda laggy. (my computer).

    Need help upgrading my computer to make it faster and no lag!! :( Very dissapointing from Alienware..

    anything specific that is lagging? you should tell us what specifically is lagging.

    when you notice lag does the hard drive light start blinking?

    i would recommend running 3dmark06 first then adaware and spybot to clean the spyware and finally a good anti virus program. run full scans. afterwards defrag your computer. all this will take a few hours but it should help you out in clearing up any software related issues. if it still lags it may be a hardware related problem.
