Thanks to BatBoy for the guide, and credits to Hel20eS who made this before me, which inspired me to make a thread too(I was going to just make one for myself and forget about it before I found about that thread).

Basically as I check the backgrounddefault.jpg I realizes the resolution is 16:10, not the usual laptops which are 16:9. This results a slightly vertically compressed picture. So I did some cropping, and convert colour with a different mechanism which results in a much better quality.

I made a pack with RGB and CMY, and White. Can take requests with individual colours. Since it's 16:9, you can convert 1080P down to 1600x900 or 1336x768 without any issue.

Red colour was recoloured so it doesn't have any yellow in it, by the way.

Thanks for the JPG files. Those look better than the other ones.

How about a bright green color? That would be a nice additon to your collection.

I actually tried it but the shadows would come out too bright, making it look really bad. I'll try to colour only the bright parts and make use of feather I guess.

    EDIT:

Those backgrounds look nice but I like the orange in the default so I just took it and cropped that version down to size. I didn't realize that the images were 1920x1200 stock.

Right, I suppose I'll add the original in too.
