    Do I need to pay attention to these specs 16MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb when I'm looking for a hard drive? Or do I just need to concentrate on the size of the harddrive and the speed of it.

    yep it'll work, just don't forget that you need the caddy for it. Call Dell and ask them to send you the second HDD caddy (interposer, 4 screws and the cage)



    <<< the size doesn't really matter, as long as it's 2.5" it should fit.

    the closer you can match the specs the better IMO

    So Speed, Cache etc should be the same for maximum performance

    whats the interposer? From what I saw, I got the four screws the black cover that say HDD1.
