Could anyone help me? I have two setups I want. One setup is with my PC 360 headset with 3.5mm jacks to not play music from youtube through the headset and then have my actual laptop speakers play that instead and setup my headset to only play audio from mumble and other programs. But the problem is that when I plug in my headset there is no other driver then the default Speakers/Headphones like they are combined into one. Is there a way to split that so I can play different audio streams through the different speaker systems?

Reference: http://i.imgur.com/q1St9oD.png I want my headphone speakers that have 3.5mm jacks to split off from my actual laptop speakers. If theres anyway to do that I'd be extremely happy.I know USB will split but the headset is 3.5mm jacks

Do you not have two audio out plugs on your laptop; you should be able to select which output independently I believe??

When I plug in my PC 360s I cannot select my speakers built into my laptop as an output because they combine into one thing as you see in the picture. If there is anyway to split..

Not entirely sure if I follow what you are trying to accomplish, but I think it's similar to when I hook up my Astro Wireless headset via optical --> assuming I've been listening to sound via the speakers I have to manually enable the S/PDIF again. Vice versa when I'm done using the headsets.

I've not come across a more dynamic way of doing it such as windows itself disabling the optical out, and subsequently the S/PDIF, when the optical cable is removed from the laptop

To conclusively answer your question, no, you cannot do that.

They are the same single audio device between the headphone jacks and the speakers. If I recall, in the way it's wired, you cannot even have the speakers and headphone jacks playing the same thing.

I'd recommend getting a USB headset if you desperately need to do that.

yes you can... ok unplug your head phones.. start your computer.. then go to the sound settings in control panel.. make your laptop speakers default.. plug in your head phones.. go back to sound propertys and make laptop speakers default
and enable your headphones.. now your internet should play thru your laptop and say team speak thru the headphones..
as for nothing else showing up... you need to right click and click on show inactive/deactivated items..

That would work if the headphones were USB, but if I recall from my R2, the output jacks and speakers were all under a single device in the control panel.
