Hi guys i recently instaled on my m15x windows 7 64 bit, got everything to work right, all was well until i tried to install nvidias 195.55 beta drivers, they didnt work correctly so i tried the 193. when i restared it would give a blue screen error so i switched to integrated so i could uninstall the drivers, and did so but now i cant switch back to dedicated after ~i restart i just come back with the integrated, i even tried a sistem restore to before i installed the drivers but still cant switch, anybody nows a fix or other method to switch do dedicated gpu. i have the 8800m GTX

That might have something to do with how your current 8800m GTX has no drivers. I had a similar issue. I think all I did was install a current version of Command Center and use FN + F7 to change and it worked. Also, I'd recommend one of the 186.xx drivers on Dhoang's W7 thread. You can find that here.

    Good luck.

Edit: Also reinstalling your OSD and allowing it to run in Administrator/turning UAC off should help as well.

Did you make sure the OSD is running on adminstrator? Program Files\Keyboard Manager\OSD

    It should let you switch.

UPDATE: so i reinstalled windows 7 and the osd but still nothing, so i was going back to vista and a though that on boot i had to press F10 or fn+F10 to get the recovorey going from the boot up but then i just booted up windows 7 and switched to integrated, just finished instaling all drivers and everything is working perfecty even comand center with keyboard lights... so advise for those that cant switch grafics mode try hiting the combination of F10 and fn+F10... worked for me. now going trough the painfull process of installing all the programs again... and osd didnt have to be as administrator..

    PEACE

just finished everything and finaly updated from x34 to x36 and man wha a difference, i dont know what the fuss every body makes about the fans, mine are running normal even after some stress tests, they didnt go up that high, and the temp readings in thermo fan are all norm. maybe they fixed the problem with the new osd for windows 7 and the thermo fan that comes with it. couldn´t be happier, its like a brand new updated computer, and just by updating software :)
