    I Have Alienware M17x
    1- 1440*900 is good for game or nut. my system has dual ati 4870.

    what? Nut? you mean not?

    I think the 900 screen is fine for gaming, although I know people will have their opinions about this. Me personally, I went with the higher res screen because of the RGB LED option, which I wanted on my m17x. :p

    I think it'll only be good for nut. Gamers prefer 1080p... with RGB that is.

    900p is fine. on a little screen like the 17", you won't see any real difference. you can just hook your laptop up to an external monitor or HDTV for the 1080p.

    its like buying a V6 mustang.....should have gotten the 1080p...

    If you can, go for the RBG screen, it makes a BIG difference.

    But for general gaming, I've had no problems with 1440x900. It also gives you better framerates, as you're not playing at a higher res.

    All that power and no 1200P screen? Why nut get the 1200P? I'd only recommend a 1400x900 screen if your getting a single GPU but to each his own.
