I was wondering if Alienware was going to add the option to add hexcore processors in any of there laptops like Origin or Sager do. They both offer the i7- 3930K desktop processors. I am looking for a full desktop replacement and would love to have the hexcore processing power in a laptop but I really like the the esthetics of the Alienware compared to Origin and Sager. Anyone know if we will be seeing any hexcore's anytime soon in Alienwares :)

    Dell/Alienware laptops use mobile processors.

Yes, there are no hex mobile parts so none will even fit in a mobile chipset machine.

However if you are only interested in gaming then the overclocked quad in an alienware will outperform a hexcore CPU.
