1024x683.... <> High Res
Thanks for the pics though some of them are pretty good. I really really recommend you thumbnail those bad boys though.
I use this size for less than 8 but more than 8 I go even smaller.

At least you're gifted with decent keyboard backlighting. I'm sitting in a conservatory right now and despite the fact that it's cloudy outside, I can hardly see the backlight.

I should photoshop my W90 as if it had a light up keyboard
Even has the grills in the front like the M17X -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Well my camera takes size 3456X2304 pixels Images
so I can't exactly post those

its nice to zoom in and see detail.
I really like the image host sites that generate a thubnail code for you and also the ones that dont tend to say "run out of bandwidth" picasa is GREAT, but no matter where you host you can still just use simple html to do your own thumbnails.
you can do width as a set pixel # or even a % of screen.

yea but then you end up clicking 3 times just to see the image in it's large form... once brings you to the Image sharing site, twice sets you at the single image smaller, and the third finally get's you to the actual image... at least on imageshack

Um, did you actually click any of the ones I just posted?

MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Huh... that's strange... I used direct links though... what should I use?

If you have to make your own like I just did:
HTML:
Then you can start doing cool stuff like marquee it or put it in a table
Also my personal opinion but way too many 3dmark shots, the laptop is the same in each shot just the benchmark screen changes. Nobody really needs to see the benchmark they want to see the laptop.
If you cut down on those things will load much faster and more focus can go to the good pictures.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 6, 2015 -

Noisy, blurry, out of focus. A Canon EOS user must never reveal such flawed productions in public. My fingers are itching to switch your EOS out of auto mode, haha. Sorry, that's just my photogeek side of me nitpicking random DSLR users again. Ignore him.
Nice looking machine you got there, MrButterBiscuits. Do you happen to have a shot of the power supply? -
ViciousXUSMC Master Viking NBR Reviewer
Im a Nikon D70 owner, but before I had my DSLR I still took pro pictures with my point & shoot. Skill > Equipment
They key to great "dark" shots is the lowest ISO you have and a long shutter with a tripod.
Though you can get away with your ISO up some on the EOS. -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
I didn't use the Auto focus.... but I did do them rather quickly
sorry Yea I didn't even check my ISO Speeds I was just taking Quick pics I will be doing better ones for my Review... Lol wow my ISO speed was 1600 the highest on my camera... and I didn't even change the Shutter speed left it at 60, didn't change the Focus either... I left it @ 3.5 I'm ashamed of myself now.. I just didn't think there were other photogeeks here... so they wouldn't notice

Today I teach you thumbnails, yesterday I taught you headphones, tomorrow maybe I'll do cameras.
Being a tech forum its like the circle of life. Computers led into photoshop and photoshop led into photograpy for me. Though I am way to broke to be serious about photography when it comes to equipment. I have only 2 lens's and a used D70. I really want a better DSLR and a few more lens's.
For computer stuff I am all set for lens' but a true macro lens would be nice, I think my 18-200 lens does 1:2 so you can consider that a "micro" lens. -

MrButterBiscuits. Lower your ISO to 100 or 200. Slow the shutter speed to around 1/10s or slower. Keep the aperture opened. I'm assuming you don't have a tripod, so hold the camera close to your body with your elbows tucked inward, or if you're kneeling down, use the "thinker" method.
You can leave the focus on auto, but make sure you manually select your subject of focus. Also, in almost all of the shots, your subject is off center frame.
When you downsample your shots, try to scale down keeping a straight integer. -
ViciousXUSMC Master Viking NBR Reviewer
I personally couldn't do a 1/10 shutter hand held, if I had no tripod I would just have to use the timer on the camera and sit it on an inanimate object.
I also know how to make a hand held tripod of sorts that fits in your pocket for like $2.00 I'll have to post it up for you guys in OT later, im about to jet out of work so need to get off the forums and just hope the kids are asleep when I get home. -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
No I do have a very nice tripod... will definitely use it.. just wait till I actually use my camera properly for my review, then you guys can crit once you know what I can do

My P&S is a FujiFilm Finepix F30, its a GREAT camera.
Small, fast, light, long battery, great low light.
It has the best reviews and I am very happy with it. It rivals my D70 in quality. -

Yea I can too... I know it is wierd but the reason is due to the fact I keep very steady hands when firing a rifle, wether it be real, paintball or airsoft...very steady
-
Soviet Sunrise Notebook Prophet
Yes, very steady hands is key in everything. If my camera wasn't so small and light compared to DSLR's, I would be able to take steady shots up to 1/2.
Back in high school, we modded the board game Operation with more kick. Me and the guys used to gather all the Duracells we found lying around in the chemistry lab and ran them all in a series totalling ~40v if I can recall. Lunchtime was always a test of bravery. That was when people really needed very steady hands. -

Here, MrButterBiscuits. These are a few of my recent macro shots that I took with my camera. All of these shots were done in low flourescent light and mostly kneeling down holding the camera in an awkward position, so I had less control over camera shake. Also, some of the shots were done one-handed for obvious reasons.

I shot expert rifle in the Marines, thats the best you can get but I still cant hold a camera perfectly still for half a second. I guess I probably have some nerve damage and "the shakes" though after my years of service.
Lucky for me todays cameras are getting better and better at high ISO and we have VR lens's(IS for you cannon guys)

If possible, I would like to see some good pictures of the actual body of the laptop, I understand that the backlights and AlienFX are very cool and all, but can't see the actual laptop in those pictures. I want good shots of the sides and back and bottom of the machine please. Just use the flash? It will wash out any backlight but will show the actual machine.
Sorry I am not as technical as you all on the cameras haha, I just carry them for my dad and enjoy the awesome vacations, he is pro level though:
Canon EOS 1ds
Canon EOS 1d Mark II
Canon EOS 1ds Mark II
600, 500, 400, 300 Telephoto lens and a slew of other zoom and macro lenses
I can tell them apart, but don't take the actual pictures myself, I am more of a memory person -
ViciousXUSMC Master Viking NBR Reviewer
You should tell you dad that he doesnt need two 1ds MkII's and should donate one to me for the sake of the forums
