    High core usuage while in game?

    I'm getting lag spikes in Counter-Strike: source and WoW. My cores for some weird reason are running between 80-95% of the two cores I have. T9600 2.8ghz standard. Any suggestions? All while in-game. Sometimes these spikes while I am outside of game browsing. Current specs are below. I run at 97% with CS tabbed out.

    100 tick in CS:S and 0 choke. It's definitely not a network problem. I am plugged into the AC adapter as well
