I got an m11x with the 250gb 7200rpm HDD a month ago and decided that I would replace it with an SSD drive since it is more quiet and faster.
Here is my question, How do I transfer the OEM Windows 7 OS that came preinstalled on my M11x HDD to the new SSD drive?
Thanks

Just do a clean install:

I use Acronis True Image Home to copy my drives. Works over USB and will also allow you to create an image that can be use to recover your system.

You don't want to clone to an SSD, it will through off alignment and performance will take a hit.

Download the appropriate w7 version, and use the key from the bottom of your m11x.
