    How are you keeping your laptop dust free?

    I've had my m15x for 4 months now and I was wondering what the best way to keep the exhaust vents and heatsinks free of dust is? It's not an issue at the moment but eventually it'll need cleaning - otherwise my 8800M GTX isn't going to be cooled properly.

    Any thoughts? Do I just take of the back and blow on everything? lol

    Use an Air Duster to clean the vents every couple of months!

    i take the heatsink and fans out and would clean them and blast the dust out of it. check the vents and blast anything left out of that.

    I use a vacum cleaner with a soft brush on the tip

    I hear that you can get a massive static charger from a vacuum cleaner, I am not certain how true this is!!

    I use compressed air in the vents once in 2-3 weeks and antistatic lcd wipes one a week.


    Off Topic : I find it hilarious how all of Tinderboxes posts end in an exclaimation mark ! All superhero types n **** LOL
