I've had my m15x for 4 months now and I was wondering what the best way to keep the exhaust vents and heatsinks free of dust is? It's not an issue at the moment but eventually it'll need cleaning - otherwise my 8800M GTX isn't going to be cooled properly.
Any thoughts? Do I just take of the back and blow on everything? lol

Use an Air Duster to clean the vents every couple of months!

Any particular brand or type you recommend?

Just get one of ebay, as shop prices can be extortionate, also get one with a straw!

Nice one. Thanks

i take the heatsink and fans out and would clean them and blast the dust out of it. check the vents and blast anything left out of that.

I use a vacum cleaner with a soft brush on the tip

Hi.
I hear that you can get a massive static charger from a vacuum cleaner, I am not certain how true this is!! -
I ordered one of these yesterday: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000934G1
It says it comes with a nozzle extension so we shall see. Probably not the cheapest you can get though. -

Hi.
That looks the job, I got a different one off ebay for £4.10 delivered! -
use it on Mars

I use compressed air in the vents once in 2-3 weeks and antistatic lcd wipes one a week.
