I just bought an Alienware m14x two days ago and I made a few upgrades, like RAM and my processor, screen, and wireless card. Is there a way I can tell that these upgrades are actually inside my laptop?

Right click My Computer, go to Properties and it should show you CPU, RAM. Display just right click on desktop and go to Screen Resolution.

You can check it either with internal tool or external. For internal tool, there are several way but I'll point you the more comprehensive one which is MSinfo32, you can run it by open the Start menu (Press Windows Key) then type in "msinfo32" without quote then hit enter, then it will bring up the System Information windows and show you most of the basic specification

And finally for external tool you can use Speccy, to check it, what that program is that it is a specification checker, much like System Information but since its job is to display the system specification so yeah it will only do that, and best of all, it's super easy to use.

I changed the title of your thread to reflect what your question is.

Sorry? No need to apologize, my friend. Everyone starts out not knowing, LOL. Asking questions is a great way to learn, and NBR is a great place to learn.

I merely changed the title of your thread so it would be clear to anyone looking at the list of threads what your question was about without having to read the opening post.

That depends on what you mean by "check"... If you mean "identify" see the posts above my first response.
All of the above works good.

You can also access your system configuration as it originally shipped from Dell/Alienware by using your service tag number at support.dell.com.
