The only thing I dislike about the M17x is freaking "stealth mode"!
Can someone tell me how ot disable it permanently?
Yesterday I accidently booted up my M17x wihtout the plug in and it went to stealth mode. Today I have spent an hour trying to get it back to using sli and the 260 video cards so that I can use my external monitor with the lappy! This is the third or fourth time that this has happened! I usually figure it out but for some reason I cannot yet. I don't need stealth mode, ever! I have the m15x for when I am not near an outlet. So can someone please tell me how to disable the stealth mode so this never happens again?

    Thanks

Oh and I cannot even create a plan through Alien Fusion in freaking stealth mode
Should I just disbalethe 9400M through the Device Manager?

Maybe someone can just tell me how to get back in boost mode using the sli/dual 260 cards...perhaps?

Its really easy....all you need to do is click the Nvidia Icon in the notification area (Bottom right) and hit Boost performance.

I figured it out. Just press the touch button for stealth. Even though it asks to enable stealth, it means disable when it is already enabled....sigh. I guess we are supposed ot know that they mean the opposite

    I still dislike steath.....

umm hold on a second....it didn't work...at first it cam up on both screens then it didn't and when I went to screen setup nothing showed...nothing worse than not having your computer work because of FREAKING stealth mode!!

Hybrid graphics enabled in bios? I pretty much have to re-enable it in there after using the battery and then plugging power back in to mains. Think it was hybrid option anyway. hth

What driver are you running Blazer? With 186.82 and 186.91, when in Save Power Mode, the NVIDIA HybridSLI/Chevrons icon should still be in the task tray.

If you are using 186.82 or 186.91, try a reinstall.

Okay, I had the same problem... Somehow my machine was stuck in Stealth mode whatever button i pushed nothing would make my machine run on boast modus.
You could do much things to solve this issue, I did, but to no avail.
The only thing that really helped when I had the same problem is a Fresh install of windows. But then again I really messed up a GPU driver install prior to getting this issue.
