The part where my your lay your palms ( near the touchpad) always has this rough feeling, i guess its from my sweaty palms... I was wondering if you are allowed to clean it with a bounty napkin and water... also what about the touchpad?

Moster fiber cloth and moster screen cleanner from best buy. I use it to clean the plasma screen and ps3. Then I saw in a mag, "Monster Laptop cleaner". It was the same stuff I had just with a different label on it!

Call me a simpleton, but I have always used Windex and paper towel or lint-free cloth. Never had any issues with Windex eating the finish or anything, and I've been using the same method for four different laptops.

3 Laptops I use bottle water in a spray bottle on a paper towel. Then clean laptop.

Some area have not so good water and you need some good filters. I dont want to drink or use it on my laptop.
