    Ok, so my laptop has a tv tuner but I have no idea how to use it. It has a connection called "CATV" but it doesn't look like a cable connection. How are you supposed to record tv without a cable connection? Im kinda confused. Enlighten me!

    I also see a remote control receiver in the front...what remotes can you use and how do you know if they are compatible?

    Hi,

    I had to make the cable up myself! You need one of these at one end;

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/HDinterconn...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252081078&sr=8-2

    and the normal type of coaxial connector that plugs into your digital box.

    I plugged mine into the signal booster box instead.

    All it does is allow you to watch digital TV on your PC but you still need the antenna to feed into it for the signal.

    I should never have bothered buying mine really. You might as well just watch it on a normal TV......as you still need to connect it all up to the aerial.

    I did get a little coaxial adaptor with my M17 along with the second HD screws!

    that came in handy at the time.

    I have not been able to find this question in the forums, at least not answered to my satisfaction. I travel a lot and would like to find a tuner for my laptop. I am looking for one that I can use that does not require an internet connection or requires being plugged into cable. Does such a product exist? Appreciate it.
