I've heard that the HDMI-in on some laptops has been somewhat shoddy, with major lag and image quality issues so I'm a bit curious how the HDMI-In is on the M17X. I'm thinking of buying an M17X but I'd like to know if I can keep it as the sole screen on my desk (using it for the PS3). Are there any major ghosting issues or the like when you use the HDMI-In? Also is the input a direct connection to the screen or does some software in Windows handle the screen output?

Thanks for your time and help. ^^
