    How long does it take to view your order status?

    Bough my M15x few hours ago and yet, the salesman didn't tell me the order number and he still hasn't emailed me my order confirmation and I don't see anything on my dell account.

    You should get a confirmation email fairly quick; unless of course they didn't get your email address correct? You might try giving dell a call if you don't get any email confirmation within 24hrs. I would also check your spam folder etc. ;)

    Seemingly an eternity. lol.

    It takes time, unfortunately. I am used to a quick update too, but Dell takes their time.

    I talked to a rep on the phone. When we were done doing our dealing, he pretty much emailed me right away. I had 4 hours to approve the specs in the email. I guess after the 4 hours, they would automatically approve it. So I wanted to make sure everything was correct. This happened on few days ago (Monday). Now I sit and wait. :-(
