How many of you have multiple Alienware systems.If so what models and what colors did you get.

Was wondering how many of you guys right now have multiple Alienware systems? I assume the most common combo is m11x and m17x. Anybody have the m17x and m15x. Anybody out there have all three. DId you try to match the colors or go with different combos. I went with red m17x and black m11x. I would have loved a Red m11x but no such animal.

 

I have the M17X R1 and M17X R2. My R1 went to my brother. They are both space black.

 

details in my sig i wanted both to be portable and battery life was also nice to have on the m15x and m11x

 

I have a m7700 17 inch laptop and a 5500i R3, 15 inch laptop. Both still working. The 7700 can still play the new games.

I have two, in my sig, and both black. Would have liked the Nebula red but didn't want to pay the extra for a paint job. Kept thinking about all I could get with the laptop for that money.
BTW - really love the feel of the exterior on the M11X it's just like my old Area51 m17X. I think they call it 'soft touch'. I find myself petting it like a dog sometimes and think 'I really need to get out more often.

 

M17x - R1 space black - gave to stepdaughter.
M17x - R2 nebula red

 

Specs are in my signature for the nebula red M17x (R1) that the wife now uses & the space black M17x-R2 that I use.

I'm currently considering adding a cosmic black or lunar silver M15x to the collection that will serve as a HTPC when not in use as a gaming backup.

Ive got the two, the M17 and M9700i as in sig.

M17, QX9300, Dual ATI M88 XT HD3870 1GB Crossfire, 4GB DDR 3 ram, 2x 64GB Solid state drives in raid, AVERMEDIA TV TUNER. Blu-ray, Hi def screen.
M9700i with ATi M88 XT HD3870, T7600 2.33GHz, 4GB ram, 2x 200GB Seagate HD in raid.

 

At this point I still have 2 (hopefully not for long).

m17x - Silver. But I think all 3 colors are really good looking.
m11x - gray - lunar shadow

One reason why I like these is because you don't see any fingerprints on the laptop.

 

I have nebula red M17x and a black M11x. I would have gone with nebula red in the M11x if they had it available. I love that color.

Moo is awefully close to being an Alienware showcase all by himself.
The red is very nice. I would have loved to have clicked that option but almost a hundred bucks for a paint job?
Would have been even nicer if they could have offered it on the M11X.
When these get old or if my hinge breaks (M11X) and they let me keep the screen; I'll break out the air gun and see what magic I can work. Until then Soft Touch does feel nice. And when the kids touch it and aren't supposed to... I have the evidence on the lid... little tiny fingerprints stand out well on it.

m11x only so far. I did a few quick bits of math, and I'm aiming for a decked out m15x to replace my desktop (seems to be the best price/performance, for me).

 

I still have my black M15x, and I returned my silver M11xR1. I chose the M11xR1 in silver because I preferred it, and the M15x was just an amazing refurbished deal, so color wasn't a choice. I would go with red if I could, silver would also be preferable to black. It's very monotone (minus the lights), and fingerprints definitely show. Just like with black cars, it looks great when it's clean, but everything shows.

 

The last time that i had brought my qosmio X305 (laptop with very bright flames in the cover) to the school for a presentation everyone wanted (and they made it ) to touch it and saw it.

I imagine if i bring my M15x (laptop with an alien head and lights everywhere), they could made something horrible to it (i live in Cancun, and here are super strange to find a gaming laptop/pc, the most "top" are mac), thats why i use my netbook only for school (but with his performance, i dont like to use it).

Is very sad that in Mexico this type from pc's are very difficult to find (the most easy to find and buy are alienware, because dell sells them but are very expensive), people only buys beautiful laptops (but with crappy cpu/gpu, and very expensive for his true cost), even when i had brought my Toshiba to their horrible service center the "technicians" they were impressed (at first, they thought that it had a integrated graphic when they disassembled ). Ah yeah, i cant forget that they made some scratches to the cover

This is my first Alienware (M15x with black cover), i have waited over almost 4 years to obtain it (at least in my case our dreams sometimes can be fulfilled), it has very good quality and his cooling is very good (i live in a very warm place), the best laptop i've ever had .

 

Baw! Well for now I only have one m15x, which is space black, but i wish I had the silver one.. I might buy a m11x soon for school and stuff, if I do itll definatly be lunar silvar <3

I have 2 A/W Desktop 1 in the basement its an ancient hive mind I got from alienware in feburary of 98 .... Still works
Another Desktop in the office Area 51 I got in 2001 still kinda works.
2 M7700's Both Dead.
1 M9750 Dead too

My basement is kinda computer graveyard also have a dead GRT and a Sony Vaio and a Mac Powerbook.
