I have an M15x with 4GB RAM, I was wondering if it can support 8GB RAM. The reason im asking this is because my average gaming score in the control panel is 5.1, and is sais RAM has the lowest score...

    Yes.
Up to 8GB Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz <--Right off the website.
But honestly you're getting the lower scores because of the RAM speed (only 667MHz) moreso then the quantity of RAM.

So lets say I upgraded from my Vista 32, to Vista 64 or Windows 7 64, and I put in 2x 4GB sticks would that increase my score and performance?

Unlikely; maybe a tenth of a point or two, but not a lot ( though a change in OS would have a better chance of yielding a different score )

TBH, I dont see why you care about WEI; its a garbage benchmark anyway.

Best idea stay with 4 gb of ram. 8 gb sound good but the low fsb is weak.

But lets not forget, unless your running a x64 OS you wont be able to use the 4gb of Ram. you will get around 3gb - the rest gets swallowed up by the system resources.

Run System Information and you will see it better as Vista will still report 4gb under the system tab
