    How switch off the LCD panel without closing lid?

    Hello,I woluld like sometimes switch off the LCD panel without closing lid.In toshiba I only press FN+F1 and everything work normal,only LCD is switch off.Does anybody know how to to that?

    If you're not going to sit in front of your system, I guess you could set the power saver to disable your monitor after a certain amount of time. I normally set mine to about 10 minutes and it disables the screen.
