except Crossfire I tested everything of that and everything is working ...

I guess the only thing I'll have to update is the ATI driver :)

wow! the new software is excellent.... both the finger print software and the bluetooth software are a great improvement in terms of user interface and ease of use.

The Official ATI 9.9 driver with mod worked for me in Win 7 RTM for quite a long time. Until recently, the slave just suddenly stopped working according to device manager. I had to remove driver and boot into safe mode to clean, then reinstall the driver to get it back alive. And today, it just happened again. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem.

Ive been using 9.9 with Win7 and have not had this issue at all. However Windows update is not recognizing the driver sometimes and is trying to install its own.

    thanks.

Are you having to MobMod Drivers still with Windows 7? I thought ATI's official Drivers included notebook support for Windows 7 but not Vista.

I think the problem was probably caused by Windows Update. Check your windows update and see what updates are available. If you find a driver update for 3870*2, just hide it. Windows update sometimes installs this driver which is not an appropriate one automatically, then your slave card stops working..

Welp, I installed 7 on both mine and the wife's laptop. Still working on the audio driver, sounds garbled on both machines and when I try to run TF2 or any other game it plays with the bars on the side. Might have to try reinstall the vid drivers. Stock 06 it gave me 15248

Ok got the audio to work, still working on the video stuff............

Hey, how did you solve the sound problem? I just installed the aw driver and everything worked perfect.

With the black bars you mean the scaling issu? I play on nativ res so I can't experience any problems (and I have the low res screen), sry

    Greetings

Hey Julian, on the first page here I went to the Europe site and used that driver and it worked great. I usualy play on native resolution too but on TF2 it only lets me go to 1400x----- *forgot what it is* Downloading Wolfenstien right now so I'll see how that runs, if not I'll reinstall the vid driver

For me the "start" "stop" a.s.o work but not the "I-Exp" "eMail" "Musik" "DVD" "TV".

Do you have the Command Center?

i had to contact AW about my keyboard issue and jumped on the occasion to ask the tech guy about the issues i have in win7 he was able to solve most of them except the media strip after installing several driver he told me that he was sending the information to the departement and wait for a driver update

the window 7 touchpad driver from AW as an issue with command center that return an error when applying setting getting the ones from synaptic fix it

he also told me that there might be a new bios actualy under devlopement to fix the quad problem once and for all

It's odd, I haven't faced the quad issue now in months. Can't even remember the last time it happened.

A new BIOS would be good though, just to ensure it never comes back. ;)

no update sry guys i'm just waiting for my keyboard to comme in atm

i think the bios would be for the qx9300 users more then the q9000 cause a stutter a week is far from anything that i need to care about
but it would be interesting cause i might someday wan to jump to the qx9300
