wow you decided to max out everything in the m15x.

2.8 ghz extreme is pretty pointless since you cant overclock it. the 2.5 ghz is enough.

4 gig of ram from AW is a waste of money. they charge you too much for ram. buy 1 gig and upgrade it yourself

1920 x 1200 screen is also a waste of money. the 1440 x 900 screen weighs less, has better colors, has faster response time, uses less energy, has better viewing angles, and will give you higher fps in games with a lower native resolution.

if you are getting 4 gig of memory drop turbo memory since it will do nothing for you

Solid State right now is kind of expensive. unless you really need the speed of the ssd you can save money getting a platter drive.

wow you just decided to basically buy the top things they offer and almost ever accessory. you have so much money

BTW since you are already paying close to 6000 USD for the m15x why not consider the m17x?

just ask your friend to order one off the site for you and have it deliever to him.

Hello and welcome to the forums sunnynishant2003 :)

As an international customer, I ordered mine from the UK site. But in your case, if you can have a friend bring it over from the US, that would save you a lot in terms of customs/international taxes and shipping.

    Some suggestions on your build:

    1. The 1900x1200 resolution for me is a bit too high for a 15'' notebook. Most people would suggest going for the 1440x900 screen, as this is an ideal for the 15'' monitor. The only reason you would want the high resolution screen is for photoshop and the like

    2. The x9000 processor is not worth it. Most people configured it with the 2.5 Ghz processor. Best bang for your buck :)

    3. AW charges a lot for the 4GB RAM.You can also order just 1 GB of RAM and upgrade it yourself to 4 GB when you receive your unit. Don't worry about warranty, as AW reps have said that changing the Hard drive and RAM won't void your warranty.

    4. You can also ditch the 1GB Turbo Cache memory if you're going with 4GB of RAM.

    5. I don't have experience with SSD's and Blu ray roms yet, but I would advise waiting till the prices for these things go lower before going on and puchasing.

    6. Get the additional smart bay battery :)

Hope that helps :) Oh and why may I ask would you want to buy 2 headsets?

    @exiled

we posted almost the same exact same things at the same time haha

    1. Don't get 1920x1200 unless you plan on photoshop / design work.
    2. Reduce 2.8 Extreme to 2.5Ghz
    3. 1GB of ram and upgrade yourself
