    How to find the Serial # on the m15x?

    Hello Everyone,

    I was just wondering if anybody knows where to find the serial # for the m15x. I'm looking underneath the notebook and I'm not sure if it's the number underneath where it says, "ALIENWARE CORP AREA - 51 m15x" or if it's one of the various numbers I see when I take out the battery.

    I'm trying to get my hinge problem fixed and I need to give them this info. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Also, Can anybody help me find the information regarding this notebook's motherboard version? I need to give them this information also. Thank you all again!
