I have ordered M17 last week but I wanna make some changes on it right now. How to do this? I decide to buy X9100 instead of T9400. How to pay the difference of price?

yeah, just call CS. they'll ask for your order number etc, and afterwards you can make changes to your order as long as you're within phases 1-4.

i'm afraid not, no. certainly not in regards to hardware, you might be able to do something about software. probably not though.

But I asked CS to check status for me last friday, they said there is a hold on production due to paypal verification. This has been resolved and settled, so they can expect assembly by Monday. So...it means they did not strart build my laptop yet?

phase 5 means they've started they've got all parts together IIRC. a this point, you can't change your order anymore because they'd have to start switching parts around etc.

hardware? not without canceling your order and placing a new one (which would mean going through all the phases 1-5 again).

software? maybe if CS is in christmas spirit, probably not.

incidentally, what is it you want to change so bad?

just call CS and cancel your order. your money will be refunded to your account. then, place a new order with the parts you want.

i don't think so, no. 15% restocking fee is only for USA, and shouldn't come into play anyway since the notebook hasn't been built yet. i'd still ask the CS agent before you cancel though. if he says it does apply, you might wanna mention you're doing it just to change your order, so the money will still go to AW sooner or later :)
