Title says it all. I want to take advantage of the fact that I will be a college student soon. I don't want a Dell Inspiron; I want an Alien! There may be some discounts I want to take advantage of now but I haven't got my college credentials yet.

This may be a noob-as question soz about that.

That requires the school's account number, which is provided through your school's administration or IT department. The number works for most Dell (consumer product lines like the Inspiron & XPS lines) & all Alienware systems.

As Taz mentioned, contact your school's admin/resource department and see what they can do. They are the only resource you have at this point unless you have a parent or other family member who has access to Dell's MPP via an employer or another participating org.
