I can't figure out how to do it. I've gone to the EPP site, clicked Employees, and taken a system all the way to the last step of checkout but there is nowhere for me to put my work ID email so all I get is some $30 off discount for "members get the best pricing." I also get that same $30 when I go through AAA and the University website (another place where there is no option for me to put where I go to school). I'd like to figure this out now that Allan is gone.

Did you ever enter in a code at the EPP website? because thats what I did but don't be surprised if the discount is like 50$. Your best bet is to follow the steps on that thread on this forum about calling in and haggling with a sales rep over the phone.

Ok, so the yellow text that says your savings under the picture of the computer is the EPP discount

I know, but there's no where for me to put in my work or school code in order for me to get a discount of some substance.

You need to realize THAT IS all the EPP discount is! There is no more discount your going to get without haggling over the phone. Just call and haggle and mention EPP maybe the sales rep will be able to squeeze out more of a discount!

One of us is confused. I supposedly get a discount from the company I work for for Dell. However, when I go to the EPP site there is nowhere for me to put in where I work or any such information. I do get the $30 (which is like 1%) discount but that's not for my work - everybody gets that as long as you're a member. In short, how could Dell give me an employee discount when they don't know I'm an employee? It doesn't make sense. Besides, people are getting MUCH MUCH more than 1% through their work EPPs.

I receive EPP discount as well from my work.

My work has our employee discount system setup through motivano.com.

Maybe your company has something similar. If you have an educational email address you can register with that and receive the same discount (work and student are the same and can not be combined).

EPP is at most 2% discount.

I also believe if you call Dell and tell them what company you work for they will apply the EPP discount then.

Exactly...the discount is very miniscule for the EPP :(
