OK so heres the deal...I had my TV connected to my laptop and I was watching a few shows.
Now I tried running Far Cry 2 and im having a pretty big problem, my 8880 graphics card is a about 60C degrees and even thought thats not that hot, if I try to play a game its verrry slow. I need to figure out what is going on because I am flying out of the country sat night and I need to know if this is a issue I can fix or something that I would have to send it for repairs...

Another question I had and please answer this only if you know 110%...Lets say I have the M15x on and its connected to a TV via HDMI, does that double workload for the 8800 video card? If I closed the laptop lid while waching the TV screen will that help at all?

My 3rd question is, sometimes when the 8800 card is extremeley hot I hear the left side fans running instead of the right side which is the video card in use... So anyone know if thats normal?

    1.
-Check to see what your power modes are (make sure you're on High Performance)
    -Are you plugged in?
    -Are you in stealth mode?
-What display drivers are you using?

-I don't think it doubles the work load but it does add to it. I'm able to play Far Cry 2 on Very High with decent FPS with my 2ndary display connected the whole time.

    3.
-How hot is extremely hot? As far as I've noticed, the fans on my right side always kick in when my GPU is hot.
