Okay so its not the new Alienware, but I had this baby for a while and she still does the trick.

    SO here it is:

If I have my power adapter plugged in, the computer functions fine.

Now If I unplug the adapter, while it is running, the screen displays vertical black and white lines than

    the screen shuts off.

I can here the fans running, all fancy lights are on, I can see the boot light flashing,

    BUT NO SCREEN!!!

Could it be the battery? Notebook Hardware Control shows that the battery is fully charged and is the computer is running under dynamic switching.....

    What could this be?

I would appreciate any help, thanks!!!
