I'm trying to delete and clean all my display drivers.

I uninstalled catalyst manager and driver through Control Panel.

Safe Booted and did a Driver Sweep and cleaned everything I also made sure my other hard drives don't have drivers.

However, every time I reboot the old driver will re-install itself to 12.1. I have done this process 5+ times now and same thing every time. The drivers just reappear in Driver Sweeper after I delete them and reboot.

It's very frustrating. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, 12.3 is cutting my performance in half, even desktop is laggy when I drag windows. Anyone else having this problem?

You could try and disable auto updates. You can do this by typing "change device installation settings" (without quotes) into the start search box. You will be greeted with a window as below. Make sure your settings are the same and try again. If that doesnt work, you may want to manually remove the drivers from within Device manager, reboot into safe mode and Sweep/Clean again....restart and see how that goes...

I don't get that window when I type in "change device installation settings"

A box briefly pops up for a second then disappears.

That's odd. Maybe try typing it in the start menu (in full without quotes) searchbox but instead of hitting enter, right click on the actual item that appears at the top of the start menu list and click open. Minimize any other windows so you can see the desktop too as it might of gotten hidden behind another open window.

Oh this happened to me yesterday fooling with faulty drivers that dont work on the M17. I was not a ablet to remove previous drivers. GPU-Z said crossfire was not enabled. After CC cleaning and all kinds of stuff i got fed up..and Restored a fresh version of Windows. Im not fooling with anymore mobility drivers. I learned my lesson.

Which drivers are you using now?

12.3 does not give me Crossfire and cuts my performance by 50%

Even though I manually deleted 11.2 it still auto installs, lol. Doesn't even make sense and is a joke. Oh well, at least 11.2 is stable for me and gets me 11.5k on 3dMark06. I'll keep it and not mess around with Mobility drivers, I agree with you on that.
