Hey guys, I'm really loving my M15x, but am having a little bit of trouble connecting it to my Samsung Series 6 22'' 720p LCD TV. I have an HDMI cable... I plug one end into the TV and one end into my laptop. I change the input on the TV to HDMI and press FN+F6 and nothing comes up on the TV, it remains black... I tried restarting and everything but nothing happens. Can someone please help me, I'm getting pretty frustrated. Thanks so much!

If it's plugged in correctly, on start up you should see the vista symbol appear on both screens before login. If not, that doesn't mean it won't still work. If you start up fresh with the TV on before you turn the laptop on it should automatically work. I never need to use the HDMI/LCD function. It just works on start up.

try going into the nvidia control panel (right click on the desktop) and set it to two displays (should be a tab on the left-bottom i think).

whizzo is right. It could be you don't have it configured as your secondary display?

if that doesnt work you need to check in msconfig to see if it has been deactivated as default.

Also, you have to be on the dedicated graphics.
