    So after like 5 days of having no keyboard backlights. And installing/uninstalling Command Center 1000 times. And installing who know how many different keyboard patches...

    I fixed it. No idea what combination of them fixed it... but it's okay. And Im going to never open that cursed application again.

    haha. Well... regardless.

    Something happened when I installed i guess it was an outdated Command Center and had the Controller running while I executed AuroraFX. It wiped the settings in the BIOS for my keyboard's backlights.

    Anyways. thanks to the countless people that lended me their advice. Im excited to have it working again. :D

    Did you install Windows 7? The keyboard lights did not work on Win 7 for me.

    First gen m17x. I was using Vistax64 when the problem started. Ended up upgrading to Win7 7229 and resolved the problem in that OS.
