I'm using the m17x...still have Vista 64 bit (haven't upgraded to Win 7 yet).

Anyway, all of a sudden when I booted up, the touchstrip above the keyboard is not only dark, but it doesn't respond to commands. This includes both sides (the caps/numlock status as well as the media controls). I didn't notice this until I needed to eject a disc. I tried going into the command center and change the color, but no avail. Has anyone had this problem before, and is there anything I can do to fix it?

    Thanks,

    MPK

try a system restore to before it went wrong (solved it for me when the same thing happened a couple of months ago), unless someone else has a better idea.

I've had it happen, I just restarted a couple of times and it went away.

If the issue continues, reinstall Command Center and OSD. Be sure you are on BIOS A02 as OSD and A00 or A01 can confict with each other.
