I heard that I needed to download a hot fix patch to luanch in 64 bit, then also a 1.1. patch over all from crytech. During Install I had to copy disc one of CWH to the hard drive and install from there becuase from the disc, it would hang on preparing for install. After that I got the second disc from the retail box set to install off the disc. FRUSTRATION.

When I load the game from a "crysis64" short cut (I had to find all my shortcuts in a X84 install folder) as none appeared auto on the desktop) the game runs slower and I have to run like 1028 x 768 min settings, when I launch from a regular crysis short cut from the OG folder (assuming 32 bit) the game is faster at res as high as 1900 x 1200 on medium+settings. BUT BUT BUT ...........REGARDLESS of either Full Screen Setting after 10-15 minutes the game disapears to the tool bar/black screen and you have to click the tool bar icon of the game to continue in FULL SCREEN?

    Help. What is the issue?

So the issue only occurs with Crysis Warhead? How do other games play?

Have you tried turning off your screensaver yet? It might be that another program was trying to running cause your game to minimize.

Don't use the Crysis64bit ... use the Crysis.exe in the 64bit "lokation" (I don't know the word for "ordner" ... sry) this solves some problems.

But! The 64bit one does performe worse because it looks better ... as far as I know (it's like Far Cry or Crysis non WH) the 64bit mode enables some extras :)

    Greetings
