    This laptop and alienware team really let me down.
    1. loooong ordering time(32days)
    2. there are some strange sound in hinge when open and close
    3. very noisy
    4. never get reply when I email them

    wow~ the "quality control" they very proud let me disappoint.

    the question is how to mail it back? Thx

    Return It, although it is a great system, many times I wish I had returned it during the refund period... Give them a call they will most likely subtract a 15% stocking fee so that will be a hit to you.

    If the hinges are doing a strange and loud sound = return ASAP. Since it may end in a hinge crack.

    The hinges are the only true worry about the m15x, and loud/strange sound on them is a very bad sign.

    xcxcxc if you are in the UK you can return the laptop within seven days i think (sorry not sure where you are)! ill check and post a link! if you are interested i wrote a drunken post on legalities here:

    you need to call them and get an RMA number and they will tell you the address to send it or might get DHL to come and get it back off you!

    mine should be here tomorrow i hope! i really hope i dont have the same probs!

    noisy hinges are not warrantable, unfortunately the hinges are the weakest part of this beautiful m15x.


    Aside from that negative part the laptop is very good.
