Okay someone please tell me what to do here... Because I'm losing my patience.

I tried updating to the nVidia 190 beta drivers and was unsuccessful... but at the same time, it took off my working drivers. Well now whenever I put working 3D drivers on the system, including the stock drivers, my wireless refuses to connect to networks and then eventually stops discovering them altogether.

This is really frustrating the hell out of me since I got the laptop to game but I need my internet too.

I'm running W7 Ultimate 64-bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought the wireless issues were to do with the NVidia chipset drivers (in particular the network drivers). Something about making sure the Device Sleep on Disconnect is disabled and Allow the computer to turn off this device is unchecked.

Might want to do a search through these forums, others were having this issue.

Try installing the Nvida display drivers I posted in the Win 7 thread.

Then disable your ethernet adaptor and your wireless should stop dropping out, worked for me. You can always enable ethernet again if you want to use it.

I got it figured out. Apparently it needs all the updated drivers from Dell. I did have to install the full nV chipset drivers and disable that setting on device sleep but I now have full 3D with hybrid SLi AND my wifi.

no point getting mad at the machine when you are using drivers that are not certified to work on it

just use the latest dell drivers, they are not bad and GUARUNTEED to work
