Anyone able to shed some light on this website and its credability, and what steps need to be taken in regards to the customs tax and filling out forms etc.

I know how to calculate how much i will get charged at customs but just curious on how difficult it is to do so.

Buying the M17x R3 for just over $2000 btw.

I know there are posts out there about this, i have looked into them but i think they are outdated or not related to Hidevolution, but if there is could you please post links to them.

    Thanks alot guys. :D

Just bought mine last week, i wasnt asked, for any more money for tax, maybe its included in the shipping, or maybe its because its méxico :)

Very good site, if yu have any question you should ask them in the chat, its on the right side of the homepage,

They take some time to answer your emails, but in the chat they answer them asap

What you pay too HID is laptop price and shipping cost.

You pay TAX when it arrives at your doorstep.

I dont understand this if the site tell you is 2400 euros and 200 euros for shipping so 2600 euros. Then when it arrives it will need moeny for tax?

    Yes it does.

    Laptop price: 2400.
    Shipping: 200.

2600 is what you pay to HID.

When your laptop arrives at the customs of your country they will calculate the amount owed over the total vallue of the package.

Depends where you live. In The Netherlands it is about 6%custom fees and 19% tax over the total vallue.

If a relative sent it from a international post office is it going to have taxation too????
Can you also tell me how do you do the calculation lets say for the 2400 for laptop and shipping for 200 so 2600 laptop with your country taxation?(so how do you do the calculation with the 6%custom fees and 19% tax over the total vallue)
    Cyprus VAT Rates:
Standard Rate 15% (since Jan 2003)
    Reduced Rate 5%, 8%

I ordered my M17xR3 from HIDevolution and they delivered to South Africa. They are a good site, took a bit long with mine but otherwise no problem. Not sure about Australia but SA has no tax on laptops (^^,)
Also if you order Fedex door-to-door if im not mistaken you pay customs at your door so no need for other forms, etc.

Double packed. There is tape over the Alienware letters so if you look at them closely you can tell its a Alienware box.

Just ask them to put some extra tape over the Alienware letters so it looks like a black box.

Its for people not to know whats in the box.

There are jelous and stealing people on this world, you do not want these people to know whats in the box.
