    I have a Area 51 m9750 and i need to upgrade the processor I currently have a Intel Core 2 CPU T5500 1.66 GHz 1 gb ram was wondering A. what do i have to do to replace it ie(where to take it apart and such) instructions and B. what should i replace it with have 150-200 usd to spend TY BTW im a total noob when it comes to this stuff so the simpler the better ty

    Unscrew the four screws on the bottom and remove the bottom panel, Then unscrew the screws holding the left fan assembly on and remove it, this exposes the processor for replacement.

    You can go to AW website and look under support for instructions. Also the CPU's Intel Core 2 Duo's T7200, 2.0Ghz, T7400, 2.16 Ghz and T7600, 2.33 Ghz which is the Top of the line for that CPU! Ebay might shed you some pricing around $150.00-$200.00
