Has anyone else had this problem?
With my other laptop I didn't have this problem, but I guess my other laptop wasn't a 15lb gaming rig.
Is there something I should know that is the cause of this, moreso than just NOT doing this anymore?

Are you using the 10.3 drivers? If not , install them.
-
Uninstall the free fall sensor driver and disable the sensor in the control panel.

My head is full of rust&dust lately. -
That may be part of my issue. What was the blue screen stop code? Could it also occur if the machine is on ac power?

Do you remember what the blue screen stop code was?
-
ISQL or something like that, I can't remember exactly, it was a good 4-5 words
I've had it before on other systems but for the life of me can't remember the error -
I'm asking because, I regularly get 0x000000a blue screens when I pick up machine and open it. I'm now wondering if the accelerometer is being triggered by that activity.
-
If I get it again I will take note.
If anyone knows how to disable this Free Fall Data Protection I'd appreciate any guidance. -

I already told you how:Attached Files:

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Never take for granted what people know, please. -
You don't need to google it, just disable it.
Device Manager, under system devices. Joker's file says it all. -

The Free Fall Sensor also seems to cause the laptop to wake to a black screen/blue screen from hibernation/sleep, by the way. So it's better to keep it disabled or uninstall the driver.

If you disable it why is it neccersary to remove the driver
If I move the laptop around while on battery, it loves to blue screen
