the m15x just cant handle it. i found the only way i had acceptable performance was to turn the resoloution down to 1200 x800. which makes the game look jaggy. and put all the settings on medium. even then it was iffy. im pretty disapointed in the 8800m gtx. they should have given a bit more power. why not 768 mb? im holding off on crysis untill i can play it properly.

I am happy with the 8800GTX as cod4 and UT3 run like butter..smooth. But the AW drivers suck for crysis. I am also really upset about the heat. I hope we find a fix soon.

Play in windowed mode. It gets rid of all the jagginess which you get playing full-screen.

you might be having the gpu downclocking issue that myself and others are having. no matter how low you set your settings, it will stutter if downclocking.

if NOT for the downclocking, i would be running an avg of 24 fps at 1440*900, cuban's CCC pack, 1.2 patch, with a few dips here and there.

im running a memron 2.2 ghz cpu, 2 gig ram, 8800gtx.
