    Hey guys,

I've been looking around for a new gaming laptop to buy. I previously owned a Area 51 m15x but the graphix card died on me, Im out of warranty and not really in the mood to send it back to repair (unless someone knows if you can buy laptop graphics cards? Ive been looking but no success so far)

Anyways, I was having a look at the new M17X , but having doubts whether to buy it.. After my last experience with Alienware my faith in them took a bit of a bump... Been reading that it has good cooling , but Im worried about those other problems Ive been reading about (throttling , sound cracks etc)

I also have been looking at one of the latest Sagers. Personally im once again attracted to AW but I'd like to hear from you guys who own a M17X that it won't be a let down :)

    Any feedback would be welcome,
    thank you for your time,
    Zelt!x

you will probably experience some of the problems you read about in this forum with the m17x. But its such a sweet machine. Get as much warrantee as you can, let the old m15x be a lesson to you.

Thank you for your quick reply :)

What problems would you reckon I would encounter when I the new M17X?
THE DCP latency seems to be quite a wide spread problem?
