    Initial Avatar/Wallpaper Choices when ordering?

    Hi all

    Long-time reader, first-time buyer. Can anyone tell me why under the "accessorise my dell" section of the AW order screens it contains items like alienfx colour, wallpaper & avatar? Is this just so you can choose your inital colourscheme and wallpaper? Do they not bundle all the AW branded wallpapers etc with each laptop? And what's the avatar for? Guessing it's the icon you get when you logon to the laptop?

    sorry if they're stupid questions but it just seems odd to give you all these options if that's all it is... :)

    It is for selecting the initial theme. Everything you see there is available for you to change to when you get it. (Wallpaper, LED Light color, User pic, etc...)

    Yah that's exactly it, they just get it ready, so when u turn it on it'll be set up the way you want it to. Not sure if they do bundle all wall papers or not, but here are all of them if u need them Public - Windows Live I think this was posted by sleey0 (correct me if I'm wrong)

    It's there to make you feel special when you first turn it on. So when you recieve it and go "oooohhhh!...Ahhhhh!" Then thats why it's there. ;) Also it will be your factory image in the restore partition.
