    Hello,

I'm in a situation where I need to dual boot with vista and xp.

I have searched around for some drivers and found the graphics one for the 260M, the TactX keyboard, I think I also found the audio drivers.

    audio drivers http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=1364413

    wireless drivers ??

    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R208883&SystemID=INSPIRON10V&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=16118&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=5&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=292805

I'm having a hard time finding the chipset drivers though, anyone installed XP yet ?

Does any one know if theyre available ? otherwise, do you think there is a slight chance the vista one might work ?

    thanks a lot!

I wouldn't bother with XP on that machine... Just put Windows 7 on it and be done with it.

i dont think it would be wise to run xp on the m17x, for one thing you cant utilize the dx10 capability of the 260m. Guess that dosnt matter if you want to play older games and programs. Besides Win7 is just around the bend and theres the beta versions that you can use until then.

What are you trying to run? I have gotten everything to run properly with either Vista or W7 with the right settings... Hell, I got FFVII to work on Windows 7 which it barely works on XP!

MoHAA, the reason is gonna sound really geeky though lol

I just find the game isn't as stable on either vista or 7, and I can't get the right sensitivity back, and having a hard time with the mouse fix.

the rest rfactor, F1 2010 will just be under 7, or vista, which ever is faster when i'll start playing them on it.

i am trying to install xp on my M17x due to the fact that i cannot get momo racing force feedback wheel to work properly in vista or 7 64bit. I managed to install xp but i cannot run games. an error occurs, do not know what the errors is. Maybe because i do not have all the drivers installed. Can some post the link to the xp drivers in 32 bit or 65 bit. You can contact me at [email protected]
